Rich hungarian history, culture and traditions nested in this peaceful open museum with beautiful sceneries. I learnt alot especially the early education system, classes, homesteads and replicated villages, paintings and monastery. I was happy to see sample books, assignments and the map of Africa in the display. They accept credit cards and they offer different rates/ packages for groups and families.

Well it’s a nice place. Tickets are quite expensive (around 10 euros with a painting). The painting is definitely worth seeing, ask for English voiceover and a leaflet. Bring some snacks and enough water, the buffet was closed at 16 something The menu there is quite limited but stuffed cabbage was alright (1800 huf a portion). Drinks a cheaper in a Labirintus nearby, drop by before the Skansen.
