Zala Springs is a totally nice place. The hotel is very nice, clean and modern. Also the restaurant - we went twice there and they had different themes and also buffet which was very good (but not that hot). Breakfast was great! I had two times dessert which was that not good. Service was very nice and helpful. The golf court is also good. The trainer is kind and recommendable as he could give us good advise and was kind.

We spent two nights at the hotel. On arrival we wanted to reserve golf training, which was pretty overbooked. The only available hours were early morning. The trainer and the field staff were well-prepared and friendly. The wellness building is not completed yet, therefore the guest should use the wellness of the nearest hotel. Transfer was not available, however was mentioned on their website. There were two small changing rooms for one-one people and the pools were crowded. The breakfast contained a nice variety of food and was tasty. This could not be mentioned about the dinner, which was poor selection and substandard. The rooms are modern and well equipped. However we had to turn off the air-conditioner for the night, because it was noisy. We got the accommodation as a voucher gift, which was accepted by difficulty. The management of the hotel should be generous and problem solving and not this kind of a negative attitude.
For the years I was so looking forward to come to this course. I heard only superlatives, so I expected something great. True is reality is a bit different. They are selling dream there. Arriving there you see a lot of investment there. All is very modern and nice, nice accommodation. Huge parking lot and big training facility. Should I comment surrounding, no nothing spectacular. Nothing to see. I would highligh the very helpfull staff. Now to the game, we were asked to start from back tee since there were some course maintenance. Course design is quite boring, I do not remember many holes, fairways were nice and wide, what was horrible were tee boxes. I understand they were sanded but the way they did it was horrible. Also what I did not like was maintenance person following us to every green to cut just when we played. We finished back and wanted to start play front and than we were told that we cannot. It took some discussion, explaining and they said its open but we lost about 20 minutes and frustration was build. Anyway front nine is nicer than back. Orientation on course is a bit difficult you do not see signs next tee nothing, so and when you asked for birdie card, its not available, why, it does not cost much. So for me it was a bit disappointment compare to courses like Pannonia in Hungary, this is worst than expected.
We came here for lunch. The view is the main extra. It’s lovely. Food and coffee were excellent. The waiter girl was extremely kind, and ready to accommodate special requests, without raising an eyebrow. They are able to offer vegan meals per request. They have plant-based (rice) milk for cappuccinos
My son is currently attending a one week golf camp at Zala Springs and my experience thus far has been remarkable. Staff is extremely friendly and attentive to your needs and very kids friendly. I'm booked in for two rounds of golf this week and can't wait. The course and facilities are world class and nothing short of 5 stars. There were no budget cuts here, for it is evident that this was a fully thought out and perfectly designed project from both a design and golf perspective. I look forward to bringing my young golf family here for many years to come. Thank you Zala Springs :)
Excellent golf course. The view is astonishing at any given time of the year. The staff are very friendly and helpful. I've attended two events in the past, and will definitely visit again!
By far the best course I've played in Hungary.
