Great place to visit in December for the Christmas Market - full of delicious food / craft and art stalls. Must see but crowded attraction if you are visiting Budapest in the winter.

Nice statue, cool walk around through the pedestrian way.
A great place to do everything. You can eat, shop and many more. There is a nice statue in the middle of the place and sometimes there are Christmas markets, venues etc. The parliament, metro stations, bridges and everything important is really close. Definitely would recommend for everyone to go here.
It so historically part and so nice place to visit in Budapest
It’s a busy square bustling with tourists most of the day. It’s in the Pest side, host to several restaurants and shops. The place is busy with buskers playing music and Segway guides selling the tours. There’s a c&a and hard rock coffee in the corner. The end of Váci street leads into this square, so hard to miss it.
It's wonderful! The whole square was renovated recently, there is a very old and famous (but not cheap) cakeshop there in a beautiful building. The Váci street starts there, the Fashion street; and there is a passage too to the Danube with unbelievably nice view of the hills of Buda and the castle quarter.
Xmas market's are fabulous great crafts there is a lot of choice, the food stalls are more expensive than the local restaurants be warned 6000huf for a hotdog on a paper plate or 3000huf in your hand.
Great looking food market with great choice. BUT Watch out prices are way high for street food ! 8000 HUF (US28) for a simple plate of beef goulash on a pancake ! Quality was good...just tourist trap expensive !
