The ferry service here is very old and traditional but quick and efficient at the same time. The staff is professional and polite. The service is rather pricey. Card payment is accepted. The persons (not the car) above 65 years travel free of charge. The restroom on the ferryboat is decent. The view from the ferry is really fantastic. So you might have about ten minutes to admire lake Balaton, with excellent photo opportunity.

You can cross the lake very quickly in just about 10 minutes at a very cheap rate. The ferry timing differs frequently. Sometimes it is every 10 minutes in summer and sometimes every hour and only before dark. There are ice cream shops around and public transport to Zamardi or any other direction is very inconvenient. Hardly any buses.

You can cross over to the other shore of the Balaton here. Cars, motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians, they take everybody for their nice 8-minute boat ride. Other than that, nothing fancy. The bars tend to be closed in the evening. If you're in a hurry, try to arrive well on time because ferries often leave earlier than what is shown in the timetable. Also, check online for timetable changes as they happen like a dozen times every year.

Fast and easy way to get to the other shore of Balaton lake. Easy way in and easy way out. Around 22/23 cars in one trip. You can still enjoy a short but pleasant trip in the ferry's deck with the lake's surroundings.

Very efficient roll on roll off ferry. Great for cyclists to nip over to the opposite shore as well as a pleasant crossing if you are in a car

Fastest way to the other side. Schedule might be misleading as in summer it runs more frequently. Accepts credit cards.

Good short trip. Ferry is going every 15mins in high season. And it is not only transport but nice attraction for children.
