This is a very plain, local working man's pub serving a couple of types of locally brewed "vilagos sor" as well as locally brewed Fóti Kézműves Sörfőzde craft beers -- at 1/3 the price these beers sell for in trendy Budapest pubs (probably because the brewery owns the pub, and it's a poor village). A half liter of Kerserumez craft beer on tap normally sells for 450 forint here; it's typically 1000 forint for 0.4 liter in Budapest. The vilagos sor, a standard lager beer, goes for about 140 forint for a half liter. This place is "Cheers," Fot style, if you are familiar with that American TV show. You see regulars here every evening, and a larger crowd on Friday evenings, and there is often a spirited game of table hockey in progress, called cso-cso (cho-cho). In the warmer weather, you can sit outside at one of the three picnic-type tables in front. This place is very unpretentious, and a throwback to simpler times -- in a good way. I have been coming here now for more than five years, usually after playing squash across the road at the Oxygen facility, and have come to appreciate this sorapu very much. You can also buy the tap beers in liter, 1.5 liter and 2 liter plastic bottles -- you can even bring your own -- to take home. A variety of Fóti Kézműves Sörfőzde and Bigfoot beers are also available in bottles. UPDATE: The pub has installed a new tap system, very modern, with six taps featuring Fóti Kézműves Sörfőzde beers. It even has special attachments to fill plastic bottles with beer. Recently, they have been "beta testing" a new recipe called Bitang Joe, a very nice, citrus-hopped beer that's currently my favorite.

Szeretem a söreiket, sajnos a Keserű mézet ritkábban tudom megszerezni, mint a Fóti pilset, de azt szeretem a legjobban. Ért egy kis meglepetés, mert amikor legutóbb ittam még 550 volt csatosüvegestül, most meg 2400at fizettem egy kétliteres palackért, elvitelre. Na mindegy, a Fortint nem csak az euróhoz lett gyengébb, de a sörhöz is.

Csak egy korira volt idöm de,az perfect.Pils szüretlen.
A Pilsner Urquell-en kívül alig tudok jóízűen más sört fogyasztani. Örülök, hogy felfedezhettem a pils tipusú Fóti kézművest, és a Keserű mézet, mert minkettő nagyon ízlik. Kerózásból hazafelé új erőre kep tőle az ember.
