Good for kids
It is a cute small museum made of an old castle of Nadasdy family. The exhibition is quite informative compared to size and enteriour is nice in some rooms

Cool place to visit. Also during summer there are some parties onsite where a lot of locals come. I suggest going there if you are around.
This museum is a bit of a hidden gem. I was expecting a bit antiquated small-town museum but this one is very well curated and labeled in excellent English. The main exposition focuses on the Husars or Hungarian cavalry and their history from medival times on. The display is excelent and not overwhelmingly more-of-the-same, as in many other museums. I'm looking at you austrian castel exhibition curators. However, especially the part about the two word wars have a bit much of that war hero tint. The other parts are about the castel and the town of sarvar, equivalently well presented.
We enjoyed a visit in the museum and kids did to. Very nicely done exhibitions. Worth visiting for someone interested in history.
Its nice but a bit boring
Historic festival is really something everyone should see if in the area
Adds some background history not necessarily known in Western Europe
