Well organized, mostly clean ferry station. Note: Schedule is misleading, in the summer there is a ferry min. every 10 minutes. Three of them continuously work, going back and forth between the two shores, as soon at they are loaded with cars. Separate tickets must be purchased for the passengers and the vehicles at the entrance gate to the ferry station - not on the ferry!

Fast and convenient connection between the Tihany peninsula and the southern coast of Lake Balaton. Good organization. Fast and efficient sailing.

You can cross over to the other shore of the Balaton here. Cars, motorcycles, bicycles and pedestrians, they take everybody for their nice 8-minute boat ride. Other than that, nothing fancy. Toilet and bars tend to be closed in the evening. If you can't miss your ride, try to arrive a lot sooner than your ferry because they consider the timetable to be more of a guideline than something to be strictly adhered to.

Fastest way to the other side. Schedule might be misleading as in summer it runs more frequently. Accepts credit cards.

For me, Szantod a place, which I should visit periodically. Tihany, the other side of the lake is very near, less as a kilometer.

Great view, the ferry quickly takes the journey between the southern and northern docks. It's a bit expensive though. 3100 huf for 2 person with a car.

We parked nearby and walked to the ferry. Great way to get across the Balaton to Tihany, with spectacular view of the lake.
