The nature in its perfect beauty. There are a lot of hiking trail, plan in advance, book your accommodation, go, have fun and relax. You also can find downloadable, prepared hikes on the net. Be careful, unfortunately Google Maps isnt good for it at all, yet. Please, be civilized, leave everything as you found and bring your garbage back with you.

They cut down trees even next to the protected areas. The signed footh paths are in terrible condition, it seems like they do not maintain them at all. It is a shame because it could be a great destination for hikers and mountainbikers. Also a struggle to find good food, most of the restaurants sell only unhealthy fatty meals.

Good views and restaurant at the top but some climb paths are hard to follow and no water or anything from start to finish

Good walks from Matra. From Matra you can visit the highest point where you will find one of two tv towers. 11km west you can walk via the blue route to the other tv tower. Bus runs around every 30mins back to Matra. At the bus station in Matra is the hotel and food.

Quick & light 2 hrs walk from Matrahaza to Galyateto. Recommended to everyone who wants to get away from noise and people.
