The MindQuest's Portal escape room is the worst escape room I have ever been, and I have been in many. The room is full of mistakes. You have to use an item labelled as 'Do not touch'... You have to find things hidden in places which would be part of a normal room like behind a light switch (I do not spoiler, this is just an example not the real place in the Portal room). There are unwritten rules for escape rooms and this one violates all of them. Lack of logic, and chaos in every corner of the room. AVOID IT!

great place with great escape rooms! the staff is really friendly
By far the most overrated escape room we’ve done anywhere. We’ve done the noozaca one. Number of issues; 1, it’s cold in the room and you can not communicate with your GM 2, the design although I’m sure was nice originally, it’s in desperate need of some maintenance. 3, once we entered the second room the final puzzle was immediately accessible, so assuming it was the next step we’ve done it. The GM then came running in, said sorry, closed it, encouraged us to continue and ran back out. 4, although a little discouraged we continued to solve the rest of the puzzles, but just got more and more annoyed as we got on with things 5, the gm did say at the beginning that if we think we solved a puzzle we sometimes need to physically force it to work, this proved to be true for a number of puzzles and it ended up taking a lot of time as - being experienced players- we always tried to resolve things without using any force 6, a lot of the mechanisms were old and got stuck so it was actually quite exhaustive to carry out a number of tasks 7, the step that is supposed to open up the final puzzle wasn’t actually working so the gm had to come in again to tell us what was going on. She was quite nice until this point, and we didn’t credit her for any fault of the room- not functioning mechanisms are hardly her fault 8, however she decided to take it upon herself to be quite defensive about the room not working and got quite rude with us as we were leaving. All in all, a very disappointing experience given all the good reviews you can read about this particular room.
We did the Maya temple with 2 people. The room is beautiffuly made with creative puzzles. The end was a bit ant climatic and confusing. The hosts were polite but not enthusiastic. We had fun and it is playable for 2 people!
fave escape room
Have played about 100 rooms around Europe and played 3 here (so far) that are surprisingly good, especially given the very affordable price. Would recommend!
This room was above a ruin bar. We got there and it didn't feel as professional as the other ones we had done. No lockers so we had to take our stuff in with us which got very dusty. The staff didn't really give us much of a backstory or instructions about what to expect as in other places. It also felt like it was a job for them rather than something they were passionate about. We did the Temple one which was a cool set, but it wasn't the biggest and only had two rooms. And you only spent about 5 mins in the first, so it felt a bit samey by the end. Mostly a series of draws to open in different ways. But there were some good puzzles and clever mechanics. I'd give the room a 7 out of 10. Just needed more enthusiastic staff.
We did the Noozaca Aztec room as a team of 3 and it was really fun! This room had no locks, number pads or anything boring mechanical. Well recommended for groups of 2 (advanced) and 3(beginners). The game master was also lovely and helpful. I've done a lot of rooms but came with my parents who are not so experienced and we all enjoyed it :)
