I was walking with a friend. Take a shot at his statue. Upon returning to the hotel, I started reading the history of Hungary online. It took me 3 days to finish reading the article. 5 stars to all the heroes and unsung heroes who makes this country independent. You have a beautiful country, thank you for letting us visit this country.

Budapest is filled with beautiful statues. It seems everywhere you go, you find another lovely one. The Statute of the Independence Was is another example of this beautiful art that is on so many streets.

Very poignant, and beautifully explained by our guide

Nice statues, big castle in the park and Ice rink in winter, but really nothing telling you what is there, even couldn't Google what the statues meant or any history of them besides the obvious. Good for a stroll or if you are going to the baths or this part of town anyway, very easy to get to on metro

It’s a cool statue in a nifty little spot but it would be better with a little placard giving a little more information. There ended up being a lot of statues with not much information about them. Turn a corner and more statues literally there is another three not two hundred yards from here to the south on the cliff edge looking out over the city. One bust from the waist and two heads.
