Founded in November 2018, Startup Europe Central Eastern Europe and Startup Europe Western Balkans Networks focus on reinforcing the tech entrepreneurship ecosystems of their regions. Seven Central Eastern European (Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Slovenia, Croatia) and six Western Balkan countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia) joined forces to inspire startups and enterprises with the expertise and advice they need directly from ecosystem builders. With the knowledge and experience embodied by bringing together key ecosystem players, the Networks offer a range of services for entrepreneurs, from networking to capacity building, scaling up, access to new markets, and access to finance. The Networks equally represent the access point in the regions, where activities from entrepreneurship education to policy recommendations are being planned.
