It has existed since 1986 as a Society of Computerised Steel Advisory Services, but was transformed to a limited liability company in 1989 according to the then new Hungarian Law on Business Associations. SACIT is the developer of EQUIST Weld, a six-language steel intelligence software, with unique features such as an integrated welding advisor module, corrosion behavior and other extensive functions. The majority of our customers are from the automotive industry, energy sector, steel industry, steel trading, machine-making industries, chemical industries, heat treatment workshops, maintenance workshops, colleges and universities. Our clients include top names from Hungary's automotive, petrochemicals and energy sectors, among others. In general, they come from all geographical areas of the world, with an ever growing proportion of customers from France, Sweden, USA, Argentina, Italy, Poland, Germany, Austria and India.
