I brought my 14 year old son here for an eye test and subsequent change of frame and lenses. The Doctor and staff (particularly Gloria) were very patient and professional. We being foreigners, Gloria made us more than comfortable as she could speak English fluently. She patiently helped us select the right frame (Timberland) and lenses (Carl Zeiss). Extremely satisfied and highly recommended!

I brought my 5 year old niece there for the second time, she has very bad eyesight so I thought she needed professional help and she got it! I will not take her anywhere else. The staff was very kind and patient with her, the doctor is a pro with kids. Very happy with the choice of glasses and the level of profession!

Been there once for an eye test and another time to buy glasses. Both times the staff were professional and extremely helpful. They spent a lot of time helping me try on different glasses and make sure I found something that I really liked and at a good price. They really seem to enjoy their work and it creates a great atmosphere.

If you need a genuine opinion on how to choose the best frame or lenses based on looks and comfort here's the right place.you get a professional assist and knowledge, I'm a difficult person on choosing, this was my first stop and didn't take long to choose \the one\ 100% Recommended.

***not familiar how to response to a reply so updating my review to comment to the place owner’s below explanation: The said conversation was in Hungarian with the shop assistant I doubt it could be the language barrier I’m native in Hungarian language. He wasn’t interested in what lenses I was wearing my impression was rather I shouldn’t looking for assistance/gathering information about the price ranges or any information at all. Didn’t feel I was welcomed at all. *** No \hello\ after entering the shop. Managed to put some questions regarding the price and the timing for making glasses. The shopkeeper (?) was surprised at the beginning and unhelpful as a continuation. Cannot provide price list, only can \tell\ some prices, and if I don't know what kind of lenses I'm looking for (based on my best knowledge it shall be defined by an optic specialist following the control) how the hell can he help?!?. I had to apologize for intending to become a customer aka. Spend money. Sorry guys but it's definitely not a reccomended place.

You can imagine my horror when in Munich, I realized that my contacts lens company back in the United States gave me the WRONG PRESCRIPTION! I was just started on my travel to Budapest and Prague. I was angry, disheartened, and worried that my trip was ruined. As soon as I got into Budapest, I looked up the best optometrist around, which happened to be Regiposta Optika es Szemeszet. I walked to the store, praying to God that they would be able to give me a two weeks supply of contact lens with my prescription. Regiposta Optika es Szemeszet was clean, and very modern looking. The person at the counter immediately welcomed me and asked me what I needed. I explained my situation, and he gave a chuckle and immediately started looking for the contact lenses that I needed. He found the right box, and after letting me try the contact lenses, rang me out. AND SAVED MY TRIP! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR WONDERFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE AND SAVING MY VACATION REGIPOSTA OPTIKA ES SZEMESZET!!!!!! 5 STARS!!!!
