By eating something from this shop, you’re sharing in its very long history. The interior of the shop seems like it has changed little since it’s beginning, and this adds to its charm. There is an amazing variety of options for such a small space. I had an amazing palmier, much better even than what you’ll find in France. Due to the ongoing pandemic, you might have to wait outside for 10-15 minutes just to enter. The service is somehow a bit slow.

This century-old shop is famous for selling Sissi’s favorite cakes, Kremes, which full of cream. I have been to the church many times and have never come to experience it. This time I finally tasted it. The handmade cake is really good. The business is very good. From we walked in till we left, there were always people lining up to buy desserts.

Great place located at the heart of the Castle District. Easily accessible from the bus 16. The staff were really friendly and kind, even though the prices were just a little higher than the other places its definetely worth paying a visit and tasting delicious cakes and drinks. You should keep in mind that there is 15% service fee in dine-in options which is definitely worth paying :)

The location is perfectly down the street from Matthias Church. We tried the famous Ruzwurm Cream Cake and were not disappointed. Beautiful venue inside and outside, delicious cakes, and comforting coffee. Our visit was perfection.

Oldest confectionery in Budapest and one of the best. Its quite small and there's usually a bit of a wait. But the cakes and coffee are absolutely delicious and are reasonably priced. Staff are super kind and polite. Must visit!

I love this shop. We' ve come here many times. The creme cake is always a favourite. We had very friendly service and they were kind enough to let us bring the dog inside as it was a big storm arrived and we could wait it out over a coffee and cake

Icecream was good. It was a bit too sweet for me. Some of the sugar should have been added to the lemon and the caramel cake.
