I've had lunch and dinner with some friends several times at Rumi restaurant. The food is absolutely wonderful, very pleasing! The service is excellent. We've had everything we needed. Must try!

1. The decor of the restaurant is nice. 2. The food did not impress us. It was our first time eating Persian food and we did not feel there was anything extraordinary with what we were served. We ordered items 21 and 22. The stew portion of item 21 was small compared to the rice. The chicken gravy tasted a little stale. 3. The waiting staff speaks limited English so we felt pangs of discomfort when we were not understood. 4. Service fee of 10% is charged by default. 5. When we went to pay the bill, we were asked how the food was and gave our opinion about it. Even then, we were given a bill with service fee. When asked why we were not informed about it, they said the service fee is mentioned on the last page. Seriously, what is the likelihood someone will notice it there? 6. We eventually got the service fee back even though our intention was not that but to feedback them. To try at your own risk.

Great Persian Food, their food is halal. The prices are not much expensive and they have a variety of food. The ambiance of the restaurant is also good. They usually close at 10pm.

As an Iranian, who knows the taste and hospitality, certainly, I would recommend the place. As you enter the place you are welcomed by a magnificent setting, The menu offers a wide variety of mouth-watering starters and main courses, All the products were fresh and the dishes had the warmth of home-made food. The staff is so warm-hearted.

The BEST Persian restaurant in Budapest with authentic, delicious dishes, cannot fault anything, everything is just so great! Clean and gorgeous space, super friendly staff, and a great atmosphere! 100% recommend, you don't want to miss this gem!!!!!!!
