Solymár, Hungary

Good for kids
A very pretty area for a family stroll. Conveniently located. A trail follows a meandering brook with some ancient roman baths. Some fun dirt features for kids to play on and around. Follow it to the end and reach Solymar Castle or stop for a brookside picnic. I would give five stars but took two stars away for the amount of litter and used toilet paper along the way. It gets extremely busy here on weekends and that, coupled with its nearby location explain why there is much more trash then we are used to seeing on our hikes in Hungary. But it is no excuse. Use the toilet before you leave home and take your trash home with you.

Not the best scenery I have ever seen, but if you want to have a nice little walk in the woods, it's definitely worth it. Just don't have high expectations.
I currently live just above this spring, it's a tranquil haven in all seasons.
Beautiful in April. Desks and piknic places Al the way. Easy walk after rain as well.
Nice and cool shade from the summer sun.
The spring and it's surroundings are not maintained at all. The spring itself appears to be dried up, and neglected by the local authorities. A shame really.
Really nice place for hiking with kids. The route is along a small creek, there is a small waterfall and a few wooden bridges also.
