When I fancy relaxing in a great environment around Blaha Lujza square, I usually pop into Mariott where the staff is polite and drinks are excellent.

My go to place for cigars! Great selection and great customer service. I'm always treated with respect when I go in to buy.

A bit of a disappointment, as the menu was more general/international type than Mediterranean and it was a bit more expensive than the Google marking suggested. Otherwise the place was nice and peaceful and the staff did its job well.

Terrible food and overpriced for Hungary standard. I ordered a chicken dish, the breast was so tough, it was obvious that it was not cooked properly. I mentioned it to the waiter when she asked why I was not eating the chicken. Without asking her, she took plate to the cook so he can cook it longer, he refused and she came back empty handed and told me. It was a terrible experience. I paid for a plate I didn't even eat. Go to an actual Hungarian restaurant, stay away from bad hotel food.

Very nice and comfortable place. Great selection of Hungarian wines. Great location near center and very close to metro stop.

I'm used to mediocre hotel food but this was a new low. Prices are very high by Budapest standards but I was in the hotel and tiredhungry. Lady who helped me was unfriendly, it took forever for them to prepare the food and when I received my food the hamburger was tough and dried out. In addition the french fries had for sure been warmed up in a microwave. I only ate about half the meal because it was nearly inedible. There's a much better cafe next door so order from them and walk down to pick up.
