Such an unexpected grandiose work of art (found by chance having to get a train from Ferencvaros station). I actually think the surrounding being so ural\ and shabby adds to the enjoyability. The sculpture on a wagon coming out of the bunker is just brilliant and very expressive. Will definitely be back to get inside and visit properly (website is available in English too).

It is a little place outside a very ugly train station. The statue itself is very beautiful and nicely designed. The only problem is that it is the midle of nowehre.

B

Benjámin Benda

Beautifull and surprizing monument which is made of a bunker. The mess of the concrete with built in old fashioned freight carts is very breathtaking also from a distance. But from close you can see the horroristic sculpures too that gives a very strong effevt. The Theorecly there is a possibility to see some exhibition inside.

Balázs Surján

An honest, moving exhibition, in which one can truly experience the tragedy of the numerous Hungarians, who suffered after the Russian invasion, in one of the GUPVI and GULAG forced labor camps, established by the communist regime.

E

Eszter Csikós

Historical memorial for the gulag victims of the communist era.

Bence Kónya

Shocking, monumental sculpture group.

Megrendítő emlékhely. Zseniális a megvalósítás kivitelezés.
