Visited this place some where in 2009 ... My first experience out side India for a vegetarian cuisine and it was really wonderful... I still remember the test.. must visit when you in Budapest

A truly great vegan restaurant; an authentic atmosphere, nice location, and the food was really good. I got the Goulash soup and Seitan Stew, both vegan versions of typical Hungarian dishes. What I really liked is that instead of using fake 'meats' (like pork or beef) they used Seitan and Tofu, giving a original taste to the dishes. Thanks!!

Hmmm interesting meal. I really wanted it to be great. I think I ordered a bit wrong because the burgers looked awesome. I should have ordered a burger.

Great food, cozy atmosphere. Offer gluten-free or soy-free option for every dishes. Big portion of food. English-speaking and friendly staff. Well informed about allergic specification and opening hours online (happy cow or its website). Making a reservation might be recommended. Worth a visit if you're in Budapest. 존맛 비건 식당. 부다페스트에 여행 온 비건이라면 꼭 한번 들려보세요.

Poor service and we were the only ones there! The two female workers were talking and eating at a table and they continued for several minutes after we sat down. One of them took out order, brought our wine, and then sat down again with her co-worker/friend. She did serve us, but had no more contact with us, except when we asked for the bill. The food wasn’t good. I had lesco with (to my surprise) hashbrowns in triangular formation, with a cucumber salad (no onion, no spice). My husband had seitan goulash, which I tried. The seitan overwhelmed the taste of the dish. Our food had very little spice. Very bland flavor.

Really delicious vegan food! It’s a bit dark in the restaurant but everything was super quick, staff was very friendly. Good prices.

A great vegan place with gluten-free options as well. I am lucky today to be here and celebrate their 5th anniversary with some special Hungarian dishes (see pictures). Price/Quality ratio: Definitely worth it here, will come back again! Service: Friendly and familiar staff that know the options available and make personalized suggestions; plus, they speak English! Ambience: Rustic and simplistic setting with wood furniture and stone walls. It's a basement but worth the visit, specially considering the price/quality ratio. Food: Tasty and pleasing to the eye, although I have had better. Nonetheless, I recommend trying the food, it's healthy!
