We had a wonderful wine tasting experience. Some highlights: - The hostess Neomi was wonderful. Attentive (even though we were only a party of 2) and very well informed. - The wine. After a couple of days of tasting we eventually rated the Nimrod wines as some of the best in the region. If not the best. - The cellar tour. Many thanks Neomi! Highly recommended

Amaaaaazing wines! We tried one of their wines at a restaurant in Budapest and market it as one of our favs! In our promptu visit to Eger, we accidentally ended up driving past this winery and decided to give it a try to see if we could have a look inside. Fortunately, there was a friendly woman who decided to let us in even though they were cleaning the place and visits could only be organised by prior booking. We ended up trying some other wines and got a couple home Thank you! Highly recommend them!

We have been at Kovacs Nimrod today for 1.5 hours of excellent wine tasting. Noemi has been outstanding in explaining the wines, the history of the winery and Hungarian wine in general, supported by numerous interesting anecdotes. The tasting happened in English. Communication was uncomplicated. The wines themselves inspired us and created excitement to taste more Hungarian wines, especially from the Eger region.

We decided to book on to this tour last minute and the owners were very accommodating. You are required to book in advanced as our guide wasn't at the winery, however it didn't appear to be an issue for her to come and open up and give us a tour and wine tasting. Wine was fantastic!
