The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Hungary (Magyarországi Olasz Kereskedelmi Kamara) is a private nonprofit association founded in Budapest in 1992 and recognized by the Italian Government in 1998. With more than 200 members, it represents a place of integration and relationship between Italian and Hungarian business community. Hungary, from the second half of 2013, recorded a GDP growth of close to 3% per year and offers numerous opportunities for foreign investors: located in a strategic position for its proximity to Northern Italy, the country is an ideal location for its position; it ensures qualified human resources and high productivity at very competitive prices; it attracts foreign direct investment due to the local government incentives and it receives substantial contributions by the European Union.
