We operate in a little village called Hernádszentandrás in North-Hungary. We use the tools of social work, pedagogy, and social enterprise to provide sustainable help for the residents who live there. Our goal is to support local adults to gain income, and to provide local children knowledge and experience which can help them to build a successful life. Structure of our Programme: - Voluneer based Child Programme - Social Enterprise: Guest House in Pere We are looking for motivated volunteers who wish to make a difference for the residents of the villages nearby. Currently we work with almost 100 children, our activities consist of: - early childhood programme: volunteers go to the children's place to play skill developing games together with the families - school preparatory workshops - individual skill developing, tutorial lessons: personalized worksheets in the field of literacy, maths and logical skills, skype lessons - mentor programme: every child has a mentor who gets regular feedback from educators and family - group activites for better social skills: board games, social games, drama pedagogy, creative workshops - camps during school holidays - collection of school equipment, christmas presents, fundraising with the cooperation of local adults - guest house in Pere - Spring 2018: building a brand new house for our NGO to have a real communal place in the village
