We have great experience at the hospital Sunday evening. I called on the phone to check are they have special rules because of COVID. When we arrived we talk with the some person and no need to explain all again. The doctor was available quickly and made very good examination, took a blood test to be sure of the diagnosis, send us for second option with the special. This totally change my experience from before in different emergency hospitals in Hungary were we wait for 7 hours to see the doctor!! Great job Heim Pál hospital

Such a shocking experience!!! When you’re not Hungarian you are simply not used to the level of disrespect I was shown by the medical team here. I was laughed at, told I was an uneducated mother who clearly didn’t care about my baby. What’s worse is that what I had done to deserve this vitriol was to follow the medical research and standard practice in Australia- which surprise surprise little old Hungary had not yet heard of. I heard Hungary had not progressed but this was something else. As an Australian who is used to being treated with respect this was horrific.
