Quick, delicious and the best price in the city

I came here a lot as a kid, this being possibly the first place I encountered the concept of a 'hamburger' in the Eastern block, so it is difficult to be without a certain degree of leniency in my review. Today I had the version with the soy patty (called 'Reform'), which was just as good as I remember it was. The meat patties are a far cry from a real grilled quarter pounder, so it doesn't make a real difference, but the generous size and the plethora of vegetables and other ingredients really make up for it. It is worth trying to see what an average 'Eastern Europe' interpretation of the hamburger was. Also they don't serve fries, which might feel weird for foreigners, but like I said - these burgers are huge. You don't need fries anyway ;) And the prices are also like time travel: at around 2.5 eur for a burger, it is the definition of 'affordable'.

Excellent selection of burgers, free from the arch-sin, as the bunny is not sweet, more neutral. The second best burger joint around, the best is also in Szeged, on the Kálvária-square. Mind you, this one is operational since the eighties, from the last millennium, and not without a rreason. Highly recommended.

10 percig álltam a pultnál, mire a kiszolgáló öregasszony méltóztatott odajönni. Bementem, hangosan köszöntem, de semmi. Türelmem végére beordítottam a raktárba hogy “HELLOOO”, mire letette a telefont a raktárba és kijött.
