We were wondering why Hungarian wines are not so popular in the world as French or Italian... The answer is very simple... they keep the best hidden in their cellars. This is the amazing place with the amazing wines. We tried only Hungarian ones. Restaurant Team is more than kind and shares willingly their knowledge about wines.

So rude, I've know Gal Tibor senior and been 17 years ago in excellent vine trip, but now they do not care about my order, about phone. I'm so bored that need find other place to test Egries vine. So sad...

We visited the very famous Winery! :) when they had a special occasion “slow market” in place. The winery is beautiful, it has a very good style. You could eat fried sausage or fish and chips this time. they served coffee, tea, water and of course their own-branded famous Gàl Tibor Wine. on the slow market you could try and buy special cheese, sausages, honey , crochet figures, smoked boiled eggs (it tastes like smoked cheese). It was very good try these food while we were enjoying our glass of wine . they have place for wedding and other big groups. you can pay by card and cash The place has a very good atmosphere. if you enjoyed my comment and pictures, press like on them in google maps, thank you ️

Nice locally produced wines in both red and white. The building is historic with masonry vaulted ceilings but has been renovated with modern flair. Servers speak English and explain each wine in detail during tastings. Affordably priced and casual environment would recommend the titi 2012.

Modern, beautiful space, fabulous wines. We travelled to Eger on a wine buying trip and arrived at Gál Tibor 10 minutes to closing on a Sunday and here is where we experienced customer service at its best. Unfortunately, I did not get her name but the person who helped us did not once made us feel like the shop was about to close. She allowed my partner to taste as many wines as he wanted to. And after coming back from the stockroom with the many boxes we bought, she graciously offered to make us coffee. She also helped a couple who walked in after the store was already closed. Yes, my partner is thoroughly enjoying the wines he bought there but if the service had been bad, we would most definitely not return. The excellent service we got makes another buying visit here soon a no-brainer.

I was so happy to find a wine cellar in a convenient location. The added bonus to this was that the wine was excellent. I recommend people visit this cellar when traveling through Eger.

After the getting the drink they let you sit. Never ask if you want seconds or just \hoe are you doing\. And they don't know that my card works. I have to tell them that. But Nice wines
