Some friends invited us to this seemingly quiet, small, very unpreposessing looking restaurant at the outskirts of Gyor. It served traditional Hungarian food and it does it very well. The average price for a main course was about 2000Ft, and the portions were huge. Everything was home made and freshly cooked. A good sign was that a number of locals were eating there on a Friday lunch time, most taking advantage of the cheap set menu, which seemed very good value. Also a constant stream of people were picking up a takeaway versions of the meals. Add to this friendly and fast service and you have a great restaurant at very reasonable price. I will be going again..
