Not much to say about the Grinzingi Borozo and I don't necessarily mean that in a negative way. It is a pub, predominantly frequented by locals. It has probably seen better days and is need of some renovation work. That said the wine was drinkable, the pints of larger were good and the bar staff were attentive ensuring we had sufficient drinks throughout the evening.

Although the name is Austrian, this place feels like an authentic slice of Hungary to me. From the menu to the decor and staff, this place is always welcoming with efficient service. Non-touristic prices which are amazing considering the location, but it's cash-only and the reason why I can't give it all 5*s.
Reasonably priced food. You can get a plate of pasta for around 1200huf. A goulash with dumplings will set your back less than 2000hufs and it's pretty tasty I would say. Just a little note, beware sitting outside as you don't want to be a victim or bird droppings. But do find a shade and enjoy the food here.
Those good old times.Place is still great,good food,clean,friendly ,good staff,friendly prices ( not a real downtown prices).Open till midnight,kitchen closes at 10:00pm
Stopped by for a couple of drinks in the late afternoon. Sat outside and enjoyed people watching and service was friendly and prompt. My wife had an Aperol Spritz and that was a big let down. Small glass with two tiny pieces of ice that melted immediately leaving her with a not so good warm drink.
The waiter is not attentive. He brought an extra french fries which we didn’t ordered. Can’t recommend any dish. French fries like a plastic, cordon bleu and breaded cheese had a very thick layer of breading with oil. So taste was bad and it was hard for the stomach. As a good point, prices are not high.
Delicious beer and goulash soup and friendly service :)
I was disappointed because we looked at the menu on the door and found out that soup was a good price and we only wanted a snack. After paying for everything separate it added up to more than we expected at the end. Bread fee (we didn't ask or want bread it just came and got charged) we asked for tap water and we got charged for that also.. the service charge was built in and they only accept cash. Everything has a charge and the soup wasn't great.
