Extremely delicious vegetarian food. I miss this place a lot. :) The only minus would be the pricing but it won't make me change my mind of giving 5 stars.

As a veggie travelling I found it difficult in many cities. But this Govinda was a pleasant surprise and tasty like anything. We took even take away - ate rest of the food at airport.

One of the best Vegan reastaurants in Budapest. It is found in the centre. I n a nice, quiet area. It is always a pleasure to eat Govinda's food. Delicious tastes. Good portions. Light food, what you will enjoy. Nice staff. English speaking service also. There are many options to combine your food. You wont miss the meat but will get full :-) No paying by cards accepted, that is not a pro in 2018. But Govinda is a perfect place for friends lunch/ dinner or quiet family dining.

Well, the thing is, I personally dislike this restaurant, but I can see why others might like it. For me it's expensive, considering what they offer. In my opinion, one serving is too big for one person, and if you ask for a half serving - which you can -, it won't be half the price, they ask for a barely lower price. Regarding the food, I believe you can easily find better tasting, cheaper food, I suggest you look for authentic food servers/restaurants.

Centrally located homey earthy place with a touch of spiritual scents and decor. They have an amazing selection of freshly cooked dishes from the counter and an unbeatable lunch deal. After visiting several times, never disappoints. There is always something to find even if you are not strictly veg or vegan. Try their home made drinks with ginger or rosewater.
