Great wine selection and plenty of advice ti choose. Also the food platter was fresh and varied. Lovely.

good selection of wines but the atmosphere is always like if it was closing time

Staff doesn’t know much about their wines and their food (or not willing to share). Overpriced. We also expected much larger and better selection.

Very refined wine bar: good place to come to if you are looking for a quiet environment and knowledgeable oenological advice. The Szepsy Hasznos Furmint I drank here is one of the best Hungarian wines I ever tasted. The wines can be a bit pricey. I wish it were possible to order 50ml portions.

My favourite wine bar in Budapest, offering a well thought mix of Hungarian and international selection, also a large sample of champagnes.

They have very nice wines on their list, but way too many foreign wines! This is Hungary, home of some of the best wines in the world! Why don't they focus on those?! The design is rather bleak, but what really drags this place down is the selection of the music! It's terrible! Almost unbearable! Having said that, the service is nice and they do have a couple of very nice wines. prices are high. Very high.

A superb wine bar and wine shop, with a dazzling selection. The staff has a very solid knowledge of vines and vine recommendations as well. If you want good quality, and you want to make sure you drink what you really want to, it is the place to go. I also enjoy the simple yet comfortable design of the place. They have also very nice sandwiches. The place is quite large, so if it is open it is very likely you will find an empty table; however, they have events on a regular basis, so if you want to make sure they are open, a phone call is definitely recommended.

Was there a week ago, place was packed with tourists on friday night. They do have good wines but these guys are a bit overpriced, you get only 100 ml per serving (most of other places 150) the choice is rather limited and the atmosphere is nothing special, service is okay, but from my experience young waiters couldn't advise really, if you ask for help they suggested smthg from the top range only. Back in a day (about 2-3 years ago) i used to pop into that shop from time to time on early evenings to buy for takeaway and the shop manager (middle-aged man) was helpful and knowledgeable also prices were reasonable for what he gave me. Didn't try it since then though.
