It's from the coolest zoos that I ever went to it has all kind of animals it was a crazy experience really cool you gotta try it

Great place to spend some quality time with the kids, even in November when the weather is still warm to be outside. Highly recommend, good value for money.

The zoo is bigger than it looks from the outside. The animals are treated well, although some cages are rather small. Would have rated 4/5, but 1 for the exoticism of the creatures.

So yeah, winter not a great time for a zoo, but still a very nice zoo, always like to visit the nearest one, and the Leopard was pregnant and hid so we didn't see much of her. Would recommend visiting if you're near, which you probably will be since it next to the aquarium you'll be going to.

A small zoo which has all the 'popular' animals (lions, tigers, giraffes etc) along with some unique ones: local pigeons, white peafowl and Minnesotan minipigs,the latter you can even buy. The amusement park is only suitable for little kids but even adults can enjoy the train ride that starts from the edge of the amusement park and takes you through a wooded area, where you can spot some deers. There's a great burger place between the amusement park and the zoo where you can sit outside.

While winter isn't the best to visit a zoo, I try to visit the local zoo whenever I travel. The Debrecen zoo is located in the orthern\ part of the city near the stadium and university and easily connected using the #1 tarm. The zoo itself isn't big but still fun to walk around it. Not the biggest animal collection out of the zoo's I visited but still fun to spend few hours around.
