8 Americans loved the food. I loved the paprika chicken,it was so tender and tasty, it was just wonderful. the goulash soup was to die for. Service was very attentive although I must say there were few other people in the restaurant since it was Monday when most things are closed. Great food,great Chagall art on the walls.

We've had a wonderful experience at Chagall. Food was creative and tasted exceptional, service was polite and proactive. Little too much on the proactive side but that's okay. The place has a cool vibe and I always appreciate a thought-out beer selection.
Outside the restaurant we were met by a young girl handing out a 10% coupon for the restaurant. As we had planned to visit either way, we went in. We had a lovely dinner with amazing food and a great wine recommendation from our waiter. However, when the bill came, I couldn't find the 10% discount anywhere. I asked the waiter, who ensured me it was present on the bill - which was honestly rather insulting as I'm able to read and do basic calculations. Won't visit again!
Nice place for breakfast or a quick coffee. Great location, right behind city's impressive opera house on a nice, quiet pedestrian road. Friendly staff to boot.
Delicious food, friendly prices and very nice service
Summary based on one early dinner: -got dinner here before the night the train, so uncrowded -schnitzel was classic with decent potatoes and a small cucumber salad -dark beer on draft was better then average -ok prices -good service -pleasant outdoor seating Lots of competition in this area.

We were the only customers and the waiter still forgot our soup! Entrees were good, not great. Bottlevof Hungarian red wine WAS great and relatively inexpensive.
