I can't recommend it, because this is my favorite place, but usually I can't take a sit, so full of people!!!! I love your coffee, desserts and stuff. Probably I should buy a chair and come with it:)
While the place in general deserves a much better rating, I'm still giving them one star, for the sole reason that their whipped cream is made of vegetable oil not milk. It's not indicated anywhere and they don't offer you a choice. Veggy oil cream is the only option. Regardless, in the menu it's still called \tejszín\ which is normally a traditional dairy product and is made of fat milk, nothing else. They won't even consider to rename it or offer both cream and veggy oil substitute. This is a shenanigan. The coffee selection is great but the cream thing ruins it all.
Nice cakes and a good selection of drinks for coffee lovers for reasonable price. Personally I don't like the idea of having a coffee shop in a bookstore. I like bookstores for the nice smell of books and for a quiet browsing of what should I read next. The smell and the chatter from the overcrowded coffee corner is ruining that a little bit. The structure in this particular cafe is not well designed. They squeezed in too many tables and there is only a thin gap to queue for the orders, wait for the order on the other side and move between the two. I felt I am always in someone else's way. I needed to constantly move somewhere while I was waiting for my order as people were going in and out all the time.
The best place, i hope this cake will be available in the Frei cafe forever :)
I love this place but unfortunately this time it wasn't the same. They serve CAFE AMERICANO in paper-cup.
