We knew our wedding would be a \destination wedding\ for many of our guests wherever we decided to get married. Budapest was somewhere we had visited once and enjoyed immensely, but when the idea of getting married there came up, everything came together SO EASILY we had to choose Budapest and Budapest Weddings. Dori and Andrea (Andi) Kiss were amazingly thorough, helpful, and patient from the very first email. Personally we loved how for each major decision, we were presented with a limited number of options (think 5-10), so the planning process never felt overwhelming. At the same time, we planned a rather unique wedding ceremony and party at The Writer's Villa, and throughout the planning process we also felt like we could customize and make the day exactly what we wanted. We really appreciated when Andi would prompt us for follow up to keep planning moving along and finalize decisions. We had a FANTASTIC experience with everyone: Andi, the florist team, catering team, A/V team, bartenders, and photographer. It's been almost 3 months since we tied the knot and everyone is still talking about our wedding as the best they've ever attended. Get married in Budapest and choose this fantastic wedding planning team!!!

To say it was a little daunting organising the most important day of your life from the other side of the world is an understatement. Without Budapest Wedding, and especially Elza, it would have been impossible for us to have our dream wedding in Budapest. Budapest Wedding went above and beyond to ensure our 3 day destination wedding became a defining event not only in our lives, but our guests’ lives too. Andrea specifically was a god send. Our planning process was a 2 year ordeal and she walked us through every step of the way with unwavering kindness, understanding and a smile on her face. It’s no secret that weddings can be extremely stressful events to plan and when you add the difficulty of coordinating the safety, accommodation and entertainment of people from literally every corner of the world, it is almost impossible to think of doing it alone. We will be forever grateful to Andrea and the team at Budapest Wedding for executing our wedding vision in a way that we could never have imagined possible.
After setting our hearts on getting married in Budapest, and doing some research online it became apparent that Budapest Wedding was the company we needed to pull off what we had envisioned. After a day of touring some spectacular locations we signed the dotted line. In the run up to the wedding we were fortunate enough to have both Dori and Gabor help us with every detail, from choosing the food and wine, cake, flowers, down to the font for the church programme. They thought and handled almost every detail. I also really appreciated how communicative they were, with no problem too big or too small. They are both wonderful people and know everyone there is to know in the city. As a result we had the perfect wedding celebration.
Budapest is definitely a wonderful alternative for couple looking to celebrate their wedding in a grand ornate ballroom while keeping cost down. Furthermore, it offers a rich patrimoine, wonderful sceneries, & incredible local product. We had the privilege to work with Budapest Wedding, who had been the most amazing host and put together a delightful week end of celebration. We wish them all the best in growing their business and would recommend them for sure if you are looking to get married in Budapest !
if you ever decide to plan a wedding with this agency... avoid Andrea Kiss.. arrogant and rude.. for instance if she is unhappy with her life how she can make happy others?
