Small spar, it’s good if you wants something essential but not for specific stuff.
Generally a good, dogfriendly shop with proper selection of international products. Sometimes the cashiers feel overworked with too many tourists but today I've had the best experience - a very nice lady - the store manager maybe? went out of her way to handle a busy situation and also helped an old lady in the meantime. Just excellent customer service.
In comparison to other SPAR shops small still every basic & more food & housekeeping stuff can be found here. Fast service. Recommended without hesitation.
Dint expect to find everything here ,they have a big area but they did not sucess to manage it well .
They had put som thought to vegans and it was really appreciated. We could find the basics that we needed and even some happy suprises!
You can find most of the products at a really good price
The people working in this place today were among the rudest I have ever encountered. I walked in and the cashier grunted something out me and then pointed to the door didn’t close. Of course I understood and went to close it but the tone of his voice was Was as if to say, you idiot, didn’t your mother teach you to close doors after you. Then I tried to communicate with one person that I was looking for six eggs rather than the dozen in the box I was holding in my hand and the woman would not even look at me just muttering something in Hungarian which I presume was don’t bother me I don’t understand. I was persistent So finally she called someone else and this person didn’t bother to try to understand what I was looking for but immediately called for someone else to help me and then simply walked away without following up to find out if that person even heard or was available. I did find the English speaker among them who understood and took me back to the place where I had gotten the 12 egg lpackage and looked on the shelf and shrugged his shoulders and said they didn’t have any. And then walked away.Well I knew there were none on the shelf but was hoping maybe there were some in back. In his defense, he could’ve known there were none in the back. The cashier was no friendlier When I checked out. The door did not close for others coming as I checked out, so apparently the spring just wasn’t working correctly. So not my recommendation of a place to shop. I am going to a store farther from my apartment while I am in Budapest.
