Booked an outside table 3 days in advance Was not informed there were no outside tables. Turned up and found a wedding going on. Had our tables crammed inside. After 20 minutes with no drink and feeling like an exhibit in the zoo merely there for the entertainment of the wedding party. We left. Very very very disappointed. Would have been nice to have been informed at time of booking of the wedding event. Left after 20 min and went to Leo

Very nice french cusine. We came here very late at night. The waiter is very warm welcome. Very nice, beautiful, and delicated french dishes we ordered lobster soup which was great. and two fish dishes also perfect for this night. last one we ordered chocolate moose. this dish came with both dark and white chocolate on top with the passion fruit. love this place.
Looking good - not tasting as good. I was here a few years ago and thought the place was really good back then. Went back this week with a big group. I think they get most of the starters right! Had the lobster soup and also tried the tartar and goat cheese - all were very good. The main courses are not impressing though and I tried both the chicken, the duck, the tuna and the steak and all were quite mediocre. My dish was the duck and I think it was WAY too well done for being juicy and tasty. The interior of this place is beatiful and the wine list is extensive. It was a bit of waiting time but nothing extreme. Comes half recommended since budapest has so many choices.
Great atmosphere, fine cousine. A bit of France in the heart of Budapest. I'd especially recommend the Degustation menu.
I can not tell a real opinion about the restaurant or the food, because I was simply not served. We went there to have a drink and check the place in order to book a table for our friends upcoming birthday. We looked around in the garden (which is definitely very beautiful) then sat down in one of the empty tables. The waiters saw us, but did not bother themselves even with a hello. They had no excuse as the restaurant was not busy at all. We waited for more than 10 minutes then left. Huge disappointment.
Really nice place. Perfect for weddings too.
My friend and I went on recommendation of our hotel. We were the only customers all evening which given the reviews and quality was disappointing. We were welcomed with a violet and sparkling wine cocktail which was delightful. We went for the degustation menu with wine pairing. The waiter told us we were trying a new menu, and I totally believe this as after 2 hours we had only had the amuse bouche and two courses. The whole experience was well over 4 hours, which frankly was far too slow. The salmon ravioli with lobster sauce was very, very salty, and I doubt the chef had tried it before sending it out. The rest was lovely although warm rather than hot; which with regards the soup was especially disappointing, but as we had waited so long for the food we ate it when tepid rather than send it back to be heated up. The staff did not describe all details of the food, which I would have expected, and the waitress tried to take the bread away until we asked for it to be left on the table. The wine was well paired and the origins of each explained without any of the qualities of each being described. For me the pairing over-focussed on white wines. In summary a pleasant experience (except the salty dish) but far, far too slow. If they had been full and busy I would have understood but they weren't and really there was no excuse.
Good taste and place
