One of Budapest’s cool art cinema that is most accommodating for its English speaking audience with their English subtitles. You can chill in the artsy lounge as well

Old-school cinema with nice interior, but due to it's small size the hall cam get quite crowded. The arrangement of the seats in the individual rooms is also not ideal, both audio and the view can be less then perfect in some seats.
Well kept old movie theatre showing art movies. Great selection, good atmosphere. The entry hall is like a small cafe, I also recommended their espresso and sweets. A truly authentic experience.
Great Choice to see Hungarian movies subtitled in English. And it’s like intimate atmosphere. Something different and more afordable than the classic cinemas. Highly recommended!
one of the must go places in Budapest. If you like cinema, its history and old generation of cinema styles including vintage and communism ones then visiting this museum is a must. I would recommend that find your ways on the arrival and then see what are available. You get to watch some old films as well. I have been in Budapest many times but when I go back with a new comer. I will definitely recommend this museum.
If you are a foreigner looking for a cinema in BP, consider this place. Most other theaters don't have many screenings in the original language with subs, as dubbing is unfortunately a big thing in this country. This theater does, and also it's not a Big Corp. place. The vibe is original.
Small cinema that shows lesser known but quality movies in original language. You make yourself a favour if you don’t try out the café inside: the coffee is tasteless and the drinking tea leaves behind a huge pile of plastic.
Funky art movie cinema in Budapest.. A great range of movies from all around the world.. Some in English, many subtitled.. Highly recommended..
