Limmud Hungary - Creating a Jewish community based on learning Limmud is an intergenerational project, and our target group includes everyone who is interested in Jewish learning. We aim to reach different age groups with our different programs. Limmud Hungary is based on "volunticipating": From start to finish, everybody we are all volunteers and active participants. We encourage everyone to participate in the process of creating our own Jewish community. Community development: Limmud Hungary creates a new model of Jewish event, based on the core-values of self-sustaining communities. It encourages the Jews of Hungary to rely on their own strength and not on larger institutions. Unlike most other Jewish programs in Hungary, Limmud is not an initiative of the established community, nor does it rely on paid imployees. It is a fully volunteer program.
