It is known that in the past in Budapest jazz was in vogue and that even today, almost everywhere there are bars where you can listen to good music and talented artists, but this place is really a must, unmissable. In a week I was there for 3 evenings, finding, in a slightly retro environment, the opportunity to drink something at very low prices and, between 20 and 22, every evening, with admission of just over 1000HUF the possibility of attend, in a room with limited seats, to some really fantastic concerts. High-level artists, each with their own style, will brighten your evenings and your more or less demanding ears. Great acoustics, and nice staff. you can choose to attend individual events, to speak in the main room (always listening and seeing jazz videos that are projected) or to take advantage of the large room for a dinner at very affordable costs. I recommend it to lovers of good music and nice and pleasant chats (you will not see anyone with their cell phone in hand!). We chat, listen, drink. Beautiful experience. obviously not suitable for families and kids.

Great space and I just love the Jam Sessions here that are happening every Friday and Saturday night. Staff is nice and is very polite. Although, the place might get crowded real fast, make sure you reserve a table ahead

We wee roaming around the town around 11:15pm looking for some late night food and... We stumbled upon this place :) At first, it didn’t strike me as a cool one, but I heard Jam session music from Bistro zone and... We made a choice to stay that was probably the best decision for the night! Chilled out jazz music in the background, we ordered some drinks, vegetable fries and chefs speciality - meat soup. The soup was one of the best ones I’ve ever had! Meaty, with perfect texture, aromatic and smooth - something in between goulash and broth. It’s served in a pot, which adds to the ritual - pouring it in the bowl and choosing how much meat you want in each portion with the ladle. As for the fries - the sauces were amazing - especially moderately sour BBQ sauce (tasted like the ones based on bourbon, with fruity and sour aftertaste).

This is a great Jazz venue, they work hard to provide guest artists, through the week and weekends, also the house band are superb musicians. They also use the restaurant, for late night jam sessions, free of charge, if you've been to the main event. There is a bus route that stops adjacent to the entrance. Enjoyed the bossonova night. Good food is also available.

Great venue for a fun evening of jazz. Would like it even better with less amplification or acoustic only. Booming, muddy bass from instruments such as bass guitar tends to overpower the music.

Can’t even explain how much I loved this place! I specifically went for the jazz music which did not disappoint me. Absolutely stunning interior design, loved the piano light. The staff was really kind, polite and we felt looked after. It was a lovely experience to spend a night with live, quality jazz music. Thank you Budapest Jazz Club!

Great place for jazzy events. Good acoustic and small comfortable auditorium without tables but with regular seats so you can focus on performance. Air conditioning is also jazzy, sometimes it's getting too warm in the summer

I have had the best night here. I came here on a Monday on an open mic night. It was my birthday at midnight so the band played happy birthday to me. Then invited me up to sing with them. I felt so welcomed. The music was absolutely amazing. Such a good vibe. Will definitely visit again.
