High prices for not that good cakes. I asked for one and they added me not what I was asking for, so service is awful. Better to avoid this place

Nice shop with kind service. The staff knows the answers to your questions and they do speak languages. I tried pizza which was amazing, full of flavour, juicy and so on and a plum jam stuffed masterpiece. I also bought a baguette which tastes like the ones I purchased in Paris. The texture of the dough is remarkable. Everything feels like homemade. Try it, you won't regret it.
Good coffee, good cakes
Had high expectations based on the reviews but was utterly disappointed when took the first bite of my Hazelnut Croissant and almost lost my tooth. We bought 2 croissants and 1 cocoa \snail\. One of them seemed to be about 1 day old and was on par with Aldi's quality, the others were 2 days old and you could have been used to hammer in a nail. It is ridiculous that they sell old pastries especially at a price of 490 Ft each. If you want the best pastries in Budapest, Artizán bakery and Harom Tarka Macska are my favourites and about the same price, or you can go to Aldi or Lidl for cheaper but still better pastries than Jacques Liszt. We havent tried the breads so can't comment on that.
Very good Bakery, nice and tasteful breads made with soul in it. My personal favorite is the Altamura bread, but the pure white one is also good.
We have arrived a couple of minutes before closing and yet the lady at the cashier was extremely kind and helpful. This is unfortunately not normal in Hungary. Thanks for the great experience!
