In general. this station is good. At night, it's open, there are seats, there are sockets to charge to electronics everywhere but the only problem is that there's no WC at night unfortunately; it was closed.

Great main railway station! In all seriousness, visiting for the first time, it's easy to find your way round, to trains and Metro and get tickets, both from the machines and the ticket desks. Lots of signs, lots of help. Very good!

Traditional railway station with public transport and metro connection on Buda side. Only one supermarket is there.

Deli Palyaudvar - Southern Railway station was intended to be one of the three railway hubs of Budapest, but I'm afraid nowadays this establishment is completely overloaded, dirty and understaffed. Trains are generally 30 years old, facilities are not looked after and the whole place looks rather like a communist museum than a modern train station! On the other hand it's still quite European and I'm sure many of you can even enjoy its \békebeli\ charm if you're not instantly comparing it with France, Germany or the UK.

Travelling back in time... 1970's...Mostly old trains on the platform, shops are poor, no toilettes, no elevators, no sign of 21st century technology. Luckily you can buy tickets online but in case you're a foreigner you will definitely face some challenges in getting around here.

Okay rail station. Easy to find where you need to go. Many cafés available. But it's very dirty.
