Found this place by chance when searching online for a place to go for brunch. It’s conveniently located on the 17 tram line and found behind a nondescript facade. Once inside, the decor is sleek and modern yet very warm and inviting. We were greeted promptly by the staff and shown to our table and settled in for the next couple of hours. The brunch menu items were numerous and it was hard to find something we didn’t want to try. A nice selection of salads, hot and cold preparations, as well as a grill station where you could order a la minute. Treat yourself to the bottomless option for the house wine. I particularly enjoyed the red. The deserts were also tasty and enjoyed with a nicely crafted latte macchiato. This place is great for groups and has a very amusing kid’s menu. Don’t be intimidated by the multi level seating and the stairs. The paths are well lit and even my embattled knees were navigating them easily...although maybe the wine helped.

You can try the all-you-can-eat options for a very reasonable price, or order a la carte for beautifully served dishes. The food will taste good either way. :) All-you-can-eat brunch is served on Sundays. Parking is available in the garage, just don't forget to bring your ticket for 1 free hour.
I like all the great Greek dishes you made! Better than the original! Thanks for the experience!
This place has the best food for such a reasonable price, you won't believe what great deal you're getting. The price of the all you can eat buffet is, what you would normally pay for a plate in a normal mid range restaurant. It's called \gourmet\ for a reason. The food is delicious, and not your average buffet food, but high end quality dishes which you would get in a gourmet restaurant. They have a great selection of appetizers, usually a choice of three soups, around ten main courses, a wide range of salads and desserts. There's also a grill, where you can have your choice of meat and vegetables grilled fresh. The range of food is ever changing, but you can be sure that you'll always find many of your liking. The staff is very friendly and professional. I highly recommend this place!
Buda Gourmet bistro offers a good price-quality ratio. They have around 6 different starters, 3 kinds of soups and 6 different hot options for the main course. At the time of our visit (Saturday evening) the grill section was unfortunately not open. As for desserts we could choose from 4-5 different cake slices - not all were of the same, high quality, though the Kaiserschmarrn (a hot dessert) was excellent. The service was friendly and nonintrusive. In spite of all small hiccups the place deserves the title \best buffet restaurant in Budapest\.
We have been invited to a wedding and we had the dinner & party here. The food was fabulous, the service was great and we really had a good time. One small comment from my side to the place: if the wedding package has 3 drinks to select from, please don't let 2 out of 3 to run out of stock, be prepared and stock up.
I rarely give any establishment 5 stars. Just top of the line in every category.
Food is delicious, but the tables are too close to each other.
