I wanted to love this. The good: freshly made biang biang noodles, great taste, how wonderful to have this in Budapest! The sauce that came with these was delicious. The bad: everything else was just mediocre. Mini baozi (the cashier lady’s recommendation!) microwaved within an inch of their lives, super dry and the filling was a tiny tight ball of meat rolling around in a much bigger hole in the middle of the dough. Xinjiang noodles were made fresh and had a good amount of lamb, but they were meant to be a bit spicy and instead just tasted really bland. Literally just of tomato and bell pepper which means they were basically like lecsó. Had to pay a bit extra for takeaway containers but a few of them started melting from the hot food by the time we got home 5 mins later. Cucumber salad was also nothing special. Considering it’s not cheap for Budapest, I guess I expected more. But I really appreciate that there are fresh noodles available at Oktogon and it’s possible we just caught them on a bad day.

Amazing place. Great food cooked by Chineese people. The staff was awesome as well. Also, decent prices for what you get. (Try out the Red Ice Tea)

Amazing food! Not much soup selection but really tasty dishes. The noodles are authentic hand-made. The space is a bit small so I would assume one would have to wait for long outside during busy hour. We were fortunate to have been here without the long queue. Good place to visit when in Budapest.

Visited Wang's freshest restaurant and this was amazing experience! :) Authentic chinese cuisine, wide selection of quality and fresh food made on the spot in open kitchen by native chefs. The special pasta (check the robot!! ) and the hot appetizers were the best - much above the highest limit! Prices are surprisingly favorable compare to the high quality and tasty, authentic kitchen.

This is a rather authentic chinese restaurant and I've been here multiple times in the past 2 years. When tgis Bistro just opened up, it was an absolutely amazing place, where the price were acceptable and all of the staffs were nice and kind. Now, however, it seems like both the quality of food and higenic quality dropped quite a bit,and the price rose up about 25%. I hope it will soon recover from the global downturn.

A few years ago it was good recently I ate there was very disappointed . The Hygiene standards were terrible sticky tables, sticky menus and staff eating pizza hand to mouth at the counter where the food was served and not washing their hands before serving the food to the customer . None of the staff wearing Covid masks if that its whats like in the front of house god knows what its like in the back. I would avoid it like the plague .
