It's good and cheap Hungarian food. You choose your fresh protein - among chicken, pork, been and fish - and side dish and you enjoy (the protein is made at that exact moment so it takes a few minutes). You can also choose already grilled food if you are in a rush.

Don’t be intimidated when going in. I was and had to text my Hungarian friend for advice on what to order. I got a duck leg, paprika potato’s, and a sausage. Very delicious. Stand at the window and eat. Must try traditional Hungarian deli.

I wanted to try the local food and this is just the place for that. Of course a bit commercial and not all the local food is here, but it's definitely into the right direction. I had 2 sausages (blood & liver) and mashed potatoes. Tasted excellent!

This place surprised me very positively. There is no menu like in other restaurants. At the beginning you choose the meat that will be prepared for you, and later add salads, vegetables, etc. The choice is huge, and the food is delicious. And the price - for two plates with chops and salads 2 bowls full of different pickled vegetables slice of grilled goat cheese we paid less than 5000 huf. Really worth to visit!

Amazing food for a very friendly price. Service is fast, staff welcoming. We come here at least twice every time we're in the city. It can get busy during meal times, so some tables are standing only, but we've always managed to find seats eventually.

At this spot, you choose from a selection of marinated meats (chicken, pork, beef) that they then grill for you. You will then choose from a selection of sides (many salads, cabbage, pickles, chips, etc). We had the pork shoulder, chicken tandoori, BBQ chicken, and beefsteak. Holy cow was it good! The pork was the best, the steak was a bit tough but the taste was amazing and the chicken was great but didn't wow as much as the pork or steak. The chips were fantastic. Overall the food was fantastic! They also take credit cards which rounds out this 5 star review for me.

Great food at a cheap price. Quite busy most of the time but always had quick service and seats available during my visits. You can either pick items on hot hold or select from a range of meats to be grilled fresh to order. Nice range of sides to choose from and beer on tap. Stuffed pork and the Hungarian pork shoulder were amazing.

I am surprised, or should I rather say, shocked to see so many negative reviews, especially the ones about a rude lady and the food being salty and expensive. I went there to have dinner 3 times in four days and wasn't disappointed once. All the ladies and gents behind the counter were pretty helpful and rather polite - none of them seemed to be going out of their way to be impolite to people - or at least I didn't see that happening. The food surely tastes great and is not at all expensive. If you order two servings of meat with sides and salads, along with two drinks, you won't end up paying more than 15 for your meal - which I think is not at all expensive, given the portion sizes! And the food - lip smackingly delicious, absolutely loved the goulash, the lentil stew, the blood sausage, the home made sausage, and even the sides were delicious - not to mention their pickle bar! It surely is one of the best and cheapest places for me in Budapest - I will bring fond memories of their place back home..!! If you are travelling on a budget and don't want to splurge yet want some delicious, hearty food - this is your surefire solution!
