Thanks to Thomas. Beer bike in the private park was as described. Budapest government stopped the bikes touring around the city centre and this was a your in a private park. A little out of the way from the city but they have a lot of things to do on sight. Very axcomadating, my party of 9 ran late due to flights and they still managed to fit in 1.5h worth of drinking. I’m not going to say we didn’t have fun when we did this last week because we did but we made that fun ourselves (thanks Joe!). However, I do not recommend this. You just ride round and round a small grubby skate board park in a run down area of Budapest. There is NO sightseeing.
Took a ride on a nice summer day in Budapest with 7 mates of mine, did not disappoint, the driver was great and the hostess was very helpful as we bombard them with questions on other activities to do and places to visit. Beer was served cold just the way it’s supposed to be. Thumbs up to the team! Thanks for a great afternoon guys!!!
Was a huge fun to ride around the most beautiful part of Budapest. Did it for a team building event and would recommend it! Nice staff and great adventure on an affordable price! Great job guys!
Myself and 13 friends rode the beer bike on October 29th 2014. It was the highlight of our trip to Budapest. We were well looked after - given clear rules and instructions before the ride. We all felt safe and secure whilst on the ride. There are several places where alcohol must not be consumed and these were respected by our driver and therefore also by us. We attracted positive attention whilst on our ride from locals and tourists alike. The experience was surreal, fun, exciting and we would all recommend it to others visiting Budapest.
It was a great experience to discover Budapest from a different perspective. Having beer with my mates and cyling around in my home town made me feel like a tourist! We had a lovely time thanks for the staff! They provided an excellent service! Cheers guys!
Disclaimer: I never tried it myself, but most certainly lots of drunk young stud Brits do, yelling after ladies, causing traffic chaos and in general acting without basic human manners - especially during the oh so fine summer months. The driver usually is embarrassed and obviously wants to be invisible. I understand that this may be a good business, nevertheless it is embittering and bothersome for non-tourists.
