Sep 2019. Booked one day in advance. The driver was waiting for me at Keleti train station. Booked again for transfer from hotel to Budapest airport and the driver arrived 5 minutes earlier to pick me up. Pay directly to driver. Simple, straightforward. A really good experience.

This company didn't show up and then argued that it was my fault for not calling them. I shouldn't have to call, they should have been there! We searching the platforms and arrivals hall and there was definitely no driver there. Seems not the first time this has happened either. Don't use them, not worth the hassle.
They showed up but I wish they had not. I booked a van from the airport to my hotel. The price was 30 Euro. They arrived 10 minutes late, and wanted an extra 5 Euro for an equally ragged car seat. Luckily I bring my own . As a parent I wouldn't take the chance with theirs. Probably a quick way to give your kid an allergy attack. During that time I went outside to get a taxi quote. The price for a new taxi van was 24 Euro. When the booking in Budapest van came it was at least 20 years old, ragged and falling apart. The seats were torn up and the inside was dirty and disgusting. It also rode poorly . Not surprising considering all the miles this car saw. We did not want to get in but the driver was so nice we decided to take the ride. Never again would I book anything with this company. Use the regular taxi company outside the airport. They have much, much , much newer cars and they are cheaper. It get worse. They owed me a refund and I contacted them about it. They agreed to give me a refund but later sent me an email saying since I left a negative review I would not receive a refund. I would have written a another negative review but couldn't. You have to love unscrupulous vendors . If they did this to me they will do it to you. This was a small amount money. Imagine how much they would rip off from you if you have them a large amount of money. I think this company scams their clients whenever they have an opportunity. Don't become their next victim. I put up a picture of the email correspondence. The company actually told me we are happy you wrote a negative reviews. Just goes to show they have no customer service skills or any true appreciation for what they do. They are just a bad company to do business with. I think their positive reviews are fake. They are all written by people with 1 review. They are probably written by the company.
Both our bookings were confirmed, on our arrival we had no problem but the taxi that was supposed to pick us up at our destination and take us to the airport - was a NO SHOW taxi! Fortunately we hadn't paid in advance. However, we managed to get to the airport on time.
I used service Bookingbudapest for several times and each time I would like to mark the service as "excellent". First time I booked transfer airport -hotel-airport for me and also for my guests in Budapest (we organized Conference). Everything was in time, car was good and clean, driver was polite and correct. The last time I have booked the service of transfer and paid it in advance but force-majoir happened and I had to cancel my trip to Budapest. So I wrote letter to Bookingbudapest contact and very quickly had got a reply that transfer was cancelled and money were refund to my card. I received my money back without any problems. My experience confirmed that bookingbudapest is reliable partner in any situation and I will continue using it in the future.
The driver who collected us asked us the company name then told us he got the job off a friend didnt know who he was driving for ? Not a proffessional service when emailed to cancel the return response was rude.
Driver could not take . He can't give any change in local currency either. Almost a scam
Perfekter Service. Am Flughafen nur kurze Wartezeit bis der Fahrer vor Ort war. Nachdem der Festpreis vorher vereinbart wurde, gibt es auch keinen Stress. Der Preis war günstiger als mit einem Taxi ( Stichwort Dauer der Fahrt, unser Hotel lag Downtown). Abholung wie vereinbart pünktlich am Hotel. Fahrer verstanden Englisch. Wir werden diesen Service wieder in Anspruch nehmen.
