I really tried to like this place, but they make it quite difficult. Prices advertised on their website - which are often quite good - are not the same in the store. As I found out, if you want the discounted price, you have to order online the products (even if they're physically available in the store) and then go to the pick-up counter where there is only one employee and so often there is a queue longer than the one at the cashier. This is kind of ridicolous, because what happens is that if you visit the store and you see something that you like, then instead of picking it up and buying it, you have to go home, order it online and then come back to pick it up the day after. That is if you want the discounted price. Not the smartest approach, in my humble opinion.

A headphone was on sale and had a definitely lower price than the market average. I’ve ordered the product online and picked up in the store. The place was okay, the staff helpful. The only thing i didn’t like was that i saw a more expensive product i liked and wanted to try but it was not possible. (Not a single headphone was on display, by the way.) So i didn’t buy the more expensive one, i took the originally ordered one.
The customer support was not helpful at all. Customers should be treated better. They were not helpful and weren’t even able to solve the issue with the not functioning keyboard I bought and took back immediately. They refused to give my money back even if it wasn’t working with my computer. It had a few seconds delay when I pressed the buttons.

The assortment is somewhat narrower than what you find in Media Markts and I feel like the premium brands/models are more likely to be found in MM stores. The price level is similar, both of these chains are overpriced on most items while these details stores are the only place where most of the items you can see by your eyes and maybe touch/feel them unlike in online stores. Sales reps on the floor are noticeably more helpful and less stressed here at BestByte than in MM stores.
