Very good this year (2019) I’ve had a few very nice pictures taken from Otto Kaiser’s photography stand (in the middle of the market) but all the rest is also good! Great ambiance of the place. Definitely sets you into the Christmas mood :)

Very crowded but beautiful christmas fair. You can find every kind of Hungarian speciliaties; food, drink, handwork gifts and more.. It is a good idea to go up to the Bazilika to watch the fair from top. There is also a light show in the evenings every half an hour, on the facade of Bazilika. The prices are high compared to any other shopping malls. Langos, kürtös kalacs and mulled wine recommended.

If it is not raining, it can be nice I guess, but way too many y people for my taste, pretty high prices, so it is a fair... but you can pay everywhere with card which is a plus and for tourists the prices are okay, if you are here at Christmas time, it worth a visit.
