Although established in Budapest in 2013, our company was founded in the Philippines in 1948 by Arsenia Umali as Kape Umali Coffee Company. With over 65 years of pedigree in the coffee industry, we believe that now is the time to reintroduce Philippine Coffee to the rest of the world, and the best place to start is Hungary, with its vibrant coffee culture and coffee connoisseurs. Our wet-processed coffee beans come from the high mountains of the Cordilleras and the volcanic Tagaytay region. Spread over more than 700 hectares of coffee farms, these single origin coffee beans are carefully handpicked, processed under strict conditions, then roasted by our artisan roaster before it is flown over to our shop where we grind it to the right texture to suit any brewing system of your choice.
