Nice free beach near the harbor and the main square.

Lovely strand area with lots of sunbathing space, places to eat to cater for all tastes. A marina to take sunset strolls along with people fishing trying to get their catch of the day. Great for families, fitness fanatics and the sun worshippers.

Awesome if you like shallow beaches and warm water. There's sand in the lake, but the beach itself is mostly grass. You enter the lake through frequently installed stairways and can then walk out hundreds of meters before having to swim. It's deep enough to swim if you want after just a few meters. Plenty of cheap food and drinks available on the beach and nearby. Not very trendy at all, rather laid back. Water looks muddy but really isn't, it's very very fine sand that gets stirred up and you feel cleaner when you get out than swimming in salt water.

Location is fantastic, low key town with great lake front views. Train Depot is so close it's very convenient!

I don't like swimming in lakes,rivers or dams. Other people do. Food is good and cheap. Beer is also cheap
