This shot was actually taken from the balcony of a private residence located 30 feet below the lookout. The view from the Messzelátó is far better as there is no vegetation or rooftops obstructing your view. Wonderful for surveying the lay of the land and Easternmost end of Lake Balaton.

Old, beautiful panorama building!
This is a beautiful place, which used to be even more beautiful. In the past, the design was much better, and the \modern\ version of it looks much more simple. The place offers a beautiful overview of the lake Balaton and its Eastern shore. It also offers very beautiful sunrises and night overview.
Nice view, well renovated place to look around from the top. Parking spot and well arranged surroundings. There is a public tap on the corner if you ran out of drinking water.

Has a nice view and details about what can be seen. It's quite a trip up the hill, but it can be approached by bike as well as on foot and by car.

I love this placebecause I spend so much time there over years since 1983: best view over a great section of the Balaton.
